Prior to joining Smoky Mountain Capital as the Director of Operations in late 2017, Brian was performing those duties for the Storey Law Group, P.A., a real estate law practice in Orlando. The firm’s successes translated to unparalleled experience managing operations, human resources, finances, & client services for the fast-growing practice.
Brian received his B.S. in Business Administration, with a minor in Accounting, from U.C.F. in 2006. Upon graduation, he began in tax with Glickstein, Laval, Carris, P.A. He also brings experience from the insurance, medical device, retail, service & call-center industries from both a Fortune 500 and Mom & Pop perspective.
Brainstorming and delivering on ways to positively impact his communities occupies much of Brian’s free time. Currently, he sits on the Board of Directors for the Victory Cup Initiative – A contest aiming to empower and enhance local non-profits, shining a light on those deserving. Brian is the current President of the Board of Trustees for the Maitland Public Library, joining the board in 2012. He has been a co-founding member for multiple philanthropic efforts including the Victory Cup & Bicycle Blessings (cleaned & repaired ‘gently-used’ bicycles, donated through various methods).
